What a flat price includes, and what it never does

A flat price is only worth having if both sides know what sits inside it. Here is the line we draw, and we draw it the same way on every quote we send.

What is always in

The movers for as long as the job takes, the truck and the fuel, travel anywhere in Rhode Island, blankets, wrap, tape, dollies and straps, and taking the furniture apart and putting it back together.

What is never in

Boxes and paper, storage between two addresses, and parking permits where a city demands them. Those are itemized at what they cost us and you approve the line before we order anything.

What changes the number

Only two things: a flight of stairs we did not know about, and a load bigger than the one we walked through. Both are priced on the quote in advance, at $45 a flight and $420 for a second truck, so you can see the worst case before you book.

Why we walk through the house

Because a number given over the phone is a number that changes on the day. Thirty minutes on site gets you a binding price in writing that holds for thirty days, and we have never once billed above one.
